Building Our 'Mini' Bus

Our bus was hand built using the chassis and engine from an original British Motor Corporation Mini.  The entire build from start to finish took approximately 2 years involving numerous stages:

removing the chasis and engine from the original donor car

 fabricating the shell of the bus

 skinning the interior and exterior 

 creating the interior fixtures and fittings

 

... and painting

 The final result is a one of a kind miniature 1950's style Leyland Titan Bus which has been entertaining the children of the North East at fayres and events since 2000.
